Cameron Leslie, MNZM (born 17 January 1990 in Whangarei, New Zealand)[1] is a New Zealand paralympics swimmer, most notable for his performance at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, winning a gold medal in the men's 150 m individual medley, in which his time of 2:33.57 broke the previous world record by over a second.[2] Leslie is currently a student at Auckland University of Technology and has a quadruple limb deficiency. Leslie says he may leave swimming to play wheelchair rugby in later games.[3]
